Grown exclusively through word-of-mouth, Genesis has matured into a significant global community representing centuries of collective heritage.

Shunsuke Aoki is the CEO and founder of Yukai Engineering Inc., a Tokyo-based robotics company creating playful robots that bring joy and emotional connection into everyday life. While studying at the University of Tokyo, he co-founded teamLab and served as its CTO. He later joined Pixiv as CTO before founding Yukai Engineering under the vision of “Robotics for Fun Living.” The company develops companion robots such as Mirumi, a small robot that clips onto a bag and curiously glances at people nearby. Since 2015, Aoki has served as a Good Design Award jury member and became a professor at Musashino Art University in 2021.
